How To Xref
Whilst an xref is inserted in an autocad drawing the colors seem faded. it looks as if it's miles in a permanent "1/2-tone" mode however it isn't always. this allows for visual recognition of line work and a difference among an xref and items drawn within the mission. fig 1: an xref before and after placement.
